On /desk the card shows the named Then draft — which desk AI wrote it, plus a short does / prompt chip — not an anonymous draft blob. Needs you, the draft tap, and the prompt reply name that AI when one is set. Files and Yes / Stop / Kill stay. HOLD. Nothing sent alone.

Open /desk to view each bound desk AI as a card (name, does, prompt summary, and how it shows on queue cards). People → Desk AIs shows the same named desk AIs. Owner can edit name / does / prompt on those Desk AI cards without leaving the desk. Queue chips follow.

Owner vs helper

Owner: Connects or drops a pipe. Writes rules. Taps Stop. On Desks: explore, rename, close, change the owner code, export, delete, and grant helper edit. Delete writes a log that stays after the desk is gone.
Helper: Works the queue. Needs you, Open, Yes when the rule allows, hand the card, phone file. Cannot connect a pipe. Cannot Stop. Cannot delete a desk or change the owner code. May edit desk details only if the owner turns that on.
We type it in: A helper can still take a note. A Desk AI drafts the card. A person still taps Yes or Stop.
Kind of work: Owner names the work on open, or later on Create. Fields stay on the card. Drop still takes free text if you skip fields.
